Designing optimal technology cyclic waterflooding using hydrodynamic modeling

Today planning and assessment of technological efficiency of cyclic waterflooding conducted using simplified models, which is not shown the whole complexity the processes occurring in the reservoir. As a result, the real effect of the technological impact may vary significantly from the forecasted.

Hydrodynamic modeling.
Results
The head office of LLC "LUKOIL- Engineering" developed approach to designing of cyclic waterflooding using a hydrodynamic model that allows you to get optimal embodiment of the cyclic flooding.
Сonclusions
One of the directions of the further evolution of technology is the complexation of technology with methods of intensification of oil (acid treatment, low-volume hydraulic fracturing). The use of such an integrated approach will provide a synergistic effect of the use of each technology.
